So our “Colour Fade” rolls, these are produced in between colour changes, Shut down or even start up. They happen every time that we change something in the Filament making process. If we get our Colouring wrong ooops (don't forget we even do this in house) or we are simply trying something new out and the end result we are just not happy with ( in terms of appearance) ooops again ! We will get rolls of filaments that changes in colour or even fades away to nothing and then comes back to the intended colour. Please do not be mistaken this is not like the beautiful colour change rainbow effects that some manufactures make( Hopefully though this is in the pipeline). This is a product of filament manufacturing and thus is more Intune if you plan on painting your model or want a cheap way to set your printer up for a print where you are going to run more expensive filament. We have been asked several times to make these rolls open for sale and that is what we are doing. They are limited and although each run will normally produce some it’s not always guaranteed to do so. You can't pick the colours unfortunately, so it could be all of one colour or totally random. Needless to say feel free to ask for a certain colour and we will try our best if available. We are currently offering these at 3 for £34.99, shipped (48 hour service). So for £34.99 you will be supplied with 3 KG of UK manufactured funny coloured filament, what more could you want :-). Brought to you from our Factory in Greater Manchester (United Kingdom) we are looking to expand our range with new exciting materials and colours. We have tested a wide range of filaments over the years and we are now very happy with the product we now have. We are holding a tolerance of 0.06 of a mm (Over 21 kilometer run, a human hair is .04) and we use only the highest quality material on the market. With these tolerances and high quality materials it will help take the guess work out of 3D printing.
