3DQF Refill / Spooless Option

Refill Loading Instructions

If you're new to refills, then this guide is just for you!

If you have experience loading refills before, then 3DQF refills are just the same as other refill options currently available.

Step-by-Step Guide

Remove the filament refill from the vacuum bag.
Gently rotate the banding straps so the pull tabs are positioned on the outside of the roll.
Line up the edge of the nearest banding strap with the notch in the cardboard core.
Place the refill onto your compatible spool, ensuring the notch in the core aligns with the locating lug on the refill spool.
Once fitted, confirm that the core notch has fully engaged with the spool. Fit the opposite side of the spool and make sure it is firmly attached and locked into place.
Locate the end of the filament. We place a 150° bend in the filament to help identify it. Hold the filament securely in place, then pull the tab on the first banding strap to remove it.
Secure the free end of the filament before removing the remaining straps by pulling on the banding strap tabs.

Any refill| spool with a core OD of 82-83mm & 60mm wide will accept our refill.
